voicenote reflections session #2 the mind
‘The Muslimah’ in the Netherlands - and in many places in this world - has long been a monolith. Going beyond fighting stereotypes and representation, we believe it is way more valuable to bring Muslim women together to not only discuss the manifold ways in which we exist, but also to center that which unites us is an inherently spiritual and existential way of being: reliance on God.

Who do we want to be on our own terms? And how can we, from there, build an infrastructure to navigate the different ways of being, living, creating and thinking in non-secular (aka religious and spiritual) spaces?

Through a research residency facilitated by WORM Pirate Bay we explored different facets of this question. In 4 intimate sessions, we zoomed in to different ‘connections’ within such an infrastructure from the Divine, to the Mind, Body and Nature.
